From the leaders of Cavitron® technology,
Dentsply Sirona brings you a progressive approach to debridement that has never been explored or examined with such enlightenment.

Dentsply Sirona provides a truly enriching instructional and evidence-based approach to periodontal scaling and root planing.

Dentsply Sirona uncovers an overlooked method to ultrasonic debridement. This method is the utilization of curved ultrasonic inserts. This neglected approach to ultrasonic scaling is and can be the most clinically significant tool during periodontal therapy. Curved ultrasonic inserts have the ability to access hard to reach areas more ergonomically, furcation involvement, adapt more accurately to the curvature of our teeth and also provide deeper subgingival access than your traditional straight ultrasonic inserts.

A recent survey conducted by the Modern Hygienist asked how the life of a dental hygienist could be improved. One of the top responses was having sharp instruments. The benefit of having a variety of ultrasonic inserts eliminates the need for sharpening hand instruments. Having a comprehensive ultrasonic hygiene set up allows the dental hygienist to provide complete periodontal therapy without the need for hand scaling. Further advantages to a complete ultrasonic hygiene setup are: better ergonomics, less fatigue, longer lasting inserts, no need for sharpening and better patient comfort.

Testimonials

Thank you for the great resources! I have now finished 2 of your webinars. I have been a hygienist for 20 years and am always amazed at what we can learn, as well as how much I know and don’t know all at once. Your Webinars are extremely helpful in refining technique! They are fantastic and I am now about to complete a third webinar. Some great direction for me. I am also reading the suggested textbook and am getting so much out of it. Thank you very much!

I learned so much! Thank you. For me it was not so much building on a skill that I thought I was fairly proficient at but turned out to be more like starting from scratch. It is true " you don't know what you don't know" until you step outside your comfort zone. I've always been curious to know what else could a person learn about ultrasonics. Wow! Learning from Dani was well worth my time.

Left and Right inserts are amazing! I decided to drag out the left and right ones after years of keeping them in a drawer. Worked away diligently on a patient and was almost having fun. I was quite pleased, and at the end of it all, my patient sat up and said "that was amazing!" Just three simple words, but sure made me feel good. Thank you so much for your inspiration. I will be sure to continue using my ultrasonics more and more, and will also look forward to attending more CE on ultrasonics in the future. Next year's portfolio goals will be a cinch!
