This procedure-based course will illustrate the basic surgical and prosthetic concepts of implant therapy through the presentation of a single-tooth posterior implant case. The case demonstrates the replacement of a missing bicuspid in a patient with Type 2 Diabetes, showing the importance of proper planning to successfully restore function and esthetics.

At the completion of this course, participants will be able to:

  • Demonstrate comprehensive treatment planning using the “Rules of Six”
  • Recognize key Implant design features and their impact on outcomes
  • Understand the significance of insertion torque vs. primary stability
