The Connect software and the Connect Case Centre simplify the cooperation between dental practice and laboratory. Once registered, both sides communicate directly through the Connect Case Centre. The data model is transferred within a few minutes and gives the laboratory an exact picture of the case.

The direct transmission of model data to your lab within a few minutes allows your dental technician to look at the case almost simultaneously with the practice. Thus, a first consultation with your laboratory can already be done while the patient is still in the treatment room. Another advantage over conventional impression methods.

Digital impressions in the dental practice

Connect is like no other digital impression system with an intelligent workflow that is perfectly matched to the needs of practitioners and patients alike. Short scanning times, intuitive handling of scanner and software and direct laboratory commissioning define this modern treatment method.

The preparation, antagonist and bite registration in the patient's mouth are quickly and precisely recorded. The scanner head is moved smoothly and closely over the teeth to be scanned and the 3D colour model is successively depicted on the screen. The scanning process can be interrupted at any time and then resumed.

2. Check

The Connect software controls intraoral acquisition and subsequently calculates the virtual 3D model in seconds. The practitioner can define the preparation line himself or delegate this task to the dental laboratory.

The practice uploads the 3D model to the Connect Case Centre in just seconds and completes the digital order sheet. The desired dental laboratory is then selected and the order data transmitted.

  • Analysis of the preparation margin: Notches and sharp edges are visualised
  • Analysis of the surface finish: The analysis tool calculates the surface curvature locally on the cavity
  • Analysis of undercuts: This tool visualises undercuts within the cavity
  • Inclusion of adjacent teeth: The tool visualises injuries to the adjacent teeth and displays them in red
