Molar Bands

Dentsply Sirona Orthodontics provides three distinct lines of molar bands, each delivering performance and integrity throughout the corrective process. With an excellence in adaption and strength, all styles reliably conform to tooth morphology for a precise fit. Every stainless-steel band has acid-etched indentations within the interior to increase bond strength, producing a solid anchor for the arch wire throughout treatment. 

A range of sizes and styles allows your practice to achieve the right anatomical fit every time. A convenient identification system clearly labels the band size, style, and side to ensure proper selection during placement. All molar band systems are available for individual purchase or by kit.  

Snap-Fit Molar Bands

Snap-Fit Molar Bands have an advanced morphology that combines strength with elasticity to create a superior fit. The stainless-steel band offers flexibility during the initial fitting and returns to its original size after removal. This promotes proper seating at the correct level. The malleable nature of the band leads to an easy fit that conforms to the tooth anatomy, while developmental notches facilitate exact placement. Once in place, the seamless steel band forms a tight seal, resulting in optimal retention and minimal flex.

Ideal Molar Bands

Ideal Molar Bands offer excellent adaption for easy contouring. Firm stainless-steel edges avoid wall collapse or crown-height crushing when fitting. Graduated, proportioned sizes are anatomically contoured from left to right, assuring the proper fit without stretching or forcing. Ovation Molar Bands

Ovation Molar Bands offer a shorter crown height, with soft contour edges. Band thickness is ideal for easy contouring, with simple adaption and placement. Ovation Molar Bands are available in sizes 1-32 for first molars only, sold individually or within kits. Shop Ovation Molar Bands.
