Dentsply Sirona Endodontics offers the Lexicon family of instruments to help you deliver efficient, predictable, and safe outcomes for your patients. Each file type is manufactured to meet ISO standards and expertly crafted to help you perform at your best.

Lexicon Pre-sterilized K-Files

Dentsply Sirona Endodontics offers the popular Lexicon stainless-steel K-File, a pre-sterilized hand file that delivers optimal cutting efficiency and precision. The easy-grip handle conveys tactile feedback to allow you to feel the canal anatomy and identify resistance to apical advancement. The single-use device eliminates risk of cross-contamination, offering a predictable and safe outcome for a variety of clinical indications.

Lexicon K-Files are manufactured to ISO standards, ensuring world-class quality and design. All handles are clearly marked with file type and color-coded for easy instrument identification. Pre-applied silicon stops are also color-coded to indicate one of three file lengths. Made of quality stainless steel, Lexicon K-Files are strong and flexible, reducing the risk of both file separation and canal transportation.

The K-file offers a large selection of file sizes, ranging from size 6-140. Smaller files, up to size 40, have a square cross section to enhance resistance to fractures. Larger size files have a triangular cross section for greater cutting efficiency. The files arrive pre-sterilized in a perforated blister pack for immediate use and are also available in an assorted pack of 6.

Increased strength and superior flexibility

The K-Reamer has an open file design with three cutting edges, making it an excellent choice when enlarging the root canal. The stainless-steel file efficiently carries away debris and promotes less canal transportation.

Extra-stiff construction

The C-File is an exceptional tool for negotiating through a calcified root canal. The file’s primary uses include cleaning, shaping, and creating initial access. Lexicon C-Files are stainless steel and feature extra stiff construction, markings on the handle ends, and safe-ended non-cutting tips.

Lexicon Pre-sterilized Hedstrom Files

Gross removal of canal contents

The Hedstrom file exhibits superior strength and aggressive cutting ability with minimum opportunity for breakage because of a thick core. This file is used for permeabilization and probing. Features include stainless steel construction, markings on handle ends and safe-ended non-cutting tips.

Lexicon Pre-sterilized Barbed Broach

Bulk removal of pulp tissue

The barbed broach is a pre-sterilized, stainless-steel instrument that is used for bulk removal of pulp tissue. Offered in XXXX-fine through course these instruments feature color-coded plastic handles for extra convenience.

Lexicon FlexSSK Files

The FlexSSK stainless-steel construction offers increased flexibility due to its triangular cross section in sizes 15 and above, size markings on the end of handles and a safe-ended non-cutting tip. Uses include exploration, canal patency, establishing glide path, cleaning and shaping, and apical gauging.

The FlexNTK features nickel titanium construction for extra ease of use in curved canals while maintaing excellent cutting efficiency. Features includes size markings on the end of handles and a safe-ended non-cutting tip.

The Gates Glidden stainless steel file is excellent for use in bulk removal of the tooth structure. It features a circular cross section and is offered in 2 lengths and six sizes.

Why Pre-Sterilization?

When selecting your endodontic instruments, you need quality instruments that will deliver efficient, predictable, and safe outcomes for your patients. Select Lexicon files are now available in pre-sterilized blister packs. Pre-sterilized files, packaged for single patient use, take the doubt out of the equation, and add efficiency to your practice by eliminating the need for staff to sterilize instruments.
