Axano Pure: New treatment center that simplifies workflows through automation and integrated solutions

Focusing on the essentials, less complexity in operation, more efficiency through automation - all this characterizes the new Axano Pure treatment center from Dentsply Sirona, now available in various markets*.
Charlotte, N.C. Everyday life in the dental practice requires solutions that work simply and immediately, that make processes significantly more efficient and that allow dentists to remain in control at the dental chair at all times. Axano Pure was developed precisely for these requirements - a treatment center that lets dentists get straight down to business: Select function and start. Automated processes and integrated functions support the treatment in the background. In addition, patients sit in a dental chair that not only impresses with its modern design, but also offers the patient a comfortable position during treatment.
Axano Pure at the cutting edge: digital, networked, communicative
The new Axano Pure is distinguished by the fact that the Endo package is integrated with presets for a quick and easy treatment as standard. Thanks to its size, the 10.3-inch display provides a good overview and intuitive access to all functions. An implant function can also be integrated on request. The same applies to both: you can set and save your own parameters and preferred settings at any time.
The optional 22'' division monitor makes it possible to use DS Core directly for patient communication: Intraoral photos, X-rays and scans can be integrated into the consultation by using DS Core's Communication Canvas. This helps to increase treatment acceptance. Alternatively, patient images can be called up on the tablet/iPad, which can be attached to the smart device holder of the dentist element.
When the patient sits in the dental chair, the ErgoMotion function ensures that the movement of the backrest and seat are ergonomically coordinated to prevent compression and extension of the spine. In combination with Sidexis 4, the tilt and extension settings of the optional motorized headrest can be called up for each patient together with the chair position. If required, Axano Pure saves the practitioner's ergonomic working height and automatically moves the patient's mouth to the correct position.
"Axano Pure meets my needs for a treatment center very well," says Dr. Sven Schmitt, implantologist from Schriesheim. "The operation is basically self-explanatory. I can simply get started without having to make many settings. And my patients feel immediately at ease."
Safe and guided hygiene processes
Axano Pure is also at the cutting edge when it comes to hygiene: the hygiene cockpit is accessed via the display. All instruments and tubes are clearly visualized there. For daily rinsing and monthly intensive disinfection, the instrument hoses are inserted into the integrated sanitation adapters. The adapters are all grouped together in one slot and can therefore be easily removed and thermally reprocessed in a single step. The process is started with a tap on the display. If Axano Pure is connected to the network, the hygiene processes are also documented in the service software.
The Axano service software also provides an overview of the hygiene and technical status of the treatment center at any time: Fill levels can be checked, user profiles can be managed and hygiene protocols can be called up. This enables a consistently high quality of hygiene documentation. If required, a service technician can also connect via video conference and provide support with live training, for example.
"With Axano Pure, we want to remove complexity from treatment processes," explains Max Milz, Group Vice President Connected Technology Solutions at Dentsply Sirona. "We want to enable dentists to start treatment straight away without extensive preparations. Automated processes in the background also help to reduce effort, and presets that are individually adapted to the dentist can enable efficient work."
