Features

RFID Tagging

Primeprint and Primeprint PPU automatically detect the material, without contact, thanks to RFID technology. The cartridge, material unit, and washing containers are equipped with RFID tags for fast handling and predictive maintenance.

DLP Light Engine

Primeprint uses digital light processing (DLP) technology, where resins are polymerized using UV light. The light projector hardens the resin layer by layer to deliver highly accurate printing results.

Intelligent Material Management

For specific indications, Primeprint uses a distinct material. The cartridges are color-coded for easy, contactless handling and intuitive operation. Primeprint also offers complete UV light protection. Thanks to the RFID tag, Primeprint automatically checks the inserted cartridge and fill level.

Active Coal Filter

Aluminum Build Plate

The build plate is equipped with highly reflective aluminum to ensure maximum light efficiency and to allow only low light absorption. Printed objects are securely attached to the build plate, which is securely transported with the Primeprint Box. The build platform, which is fitted with a RFID tag, allows for safe identification of the print job throughout the manufacturing process.

Creating Nightguards with Primeprint

The scan data is automatically available on DS Core, where you can place the nightguard design order with just a few clicks. After submitting your order, an expert dental technician from our partner lab reviews the quality of the scan and confirms your order.

Within 6 business hours you receive a design proposal for review. Once you’ve approved the design, the technician finalizes the ready-to-print file.

Guided implant surgery using surgical guides

The digital implant workflow, using a surgical guide, provides safe, fast, and convenient treatment for your patient. From data capturing to guided surgery, the seamless workflow provides a high degree of clinical safety. By carrying out prosthetic planning, in addition to implant planning, you can ensure that the implant is properly positioned.

First, relevant data is taken using 3D imaging and digital impression with CEREC Primescan or Omnicam. Based on the digital impression, the crown (or prosthetic) can be designed in the CEREC software. This prosthetic proposal can be exported to be used in the implant planning software.

The data from both the 3D imaging and the prosthetic design can be imported and matched in the implant planning software. Based on this data, the implant position can be determined to create the surgical guide.

The implant planning data can be imported into the CEREC software to adjust the initial proposal. When finalized, the data is sent to the inLab CAM software to start 3D printing with Primeprint. After printing, the surgical guide must be washed and cured in Primeprint PPU.

When the surgical guide has been finalized, the surgery can take place. The implant is positioned securely and easily in a minimally invasive procedure using the surgical guide. Before the final restoration can be placed, the implant must heal.

Creating working models with Primeprint

To support dentists with prosthetics for their patients, dental labs use working models for specific indications. With the inLab CAD and CAM software, dental technicians can easily and efficiently design and adjust print objects, which can then be printed and post-processed with Primeprint and Primeprint PPU.

When a dentists transmits an order via DS Core or the Connect Case Center, the information, including the digital impression, is downloaded and locally processed.

A working model is required to deliver the requested restoration for specific indications.

In the inLab CAD software, the working model can be designed based on the data from the intraoral scan. From the model phase on, the design is handled via the inLab Model app, which has been specifically designed for the creation of working and solid models. When the design is completed, the model data is sent to the inLab CAM software to prepare the 3D printing. Here, several parameters can be adjusted to optimize the print.

Printing from the inLab CAM software can now begin. As soon as the printer has been prepared with the material and the Primeprint Model and Primeprint Box have been inserted, the printing process starts. After printing, the working model must be washed, dried, and cured in Primeprint PPU to be ready for medical application.

The working model can now be removed from the build plate. Now the dental technician can prepare the requested restoration using the working model.
