Every digital workflow starts with a scan

The digital possibilities are nearly endless with Primescan’s capabilities. You can connect with expert labs, streamline existing workflows, and easily integrate into new workflows. Start your journey in digital dentistry and offer more services, including restorative, implantology, orthodontics and sleep appliances. Here’s a step-by-step guide to help you optimise each digital workflow with Primescan.

Workflow

The restorative workflow step by step
Increasing efficiency for better restorative dentistry

Achieve fast, simplified, and more high-quality outcomes for any restorative procedure with Primescan powered by DS Core. Digitise your existing restorative workflows while keeping your established relationships or expand to new treatment offerings. From single to multiple units, you can offer large aesthetics and more complex cases.
Step 1: Scanning

Take a quick and accurate full-arch scan with Primescan. Digital impressions give you the flexibility to stop and resume the scan procedure at any time. As you scan, assess the quality of the model on the screen for better precision.

DS Core automatically uploads a copy of the model data and adds it to your patient records as a .dxd file. Access these files remotely using a web browser on any workstation at anytime.1
Step 2: Data transmission

With DS Core, experience a new way of collaborating with peers or specialists. Easily combine digital impressions, x-rays, patient videos or photos in one library.1

Make use of one unified order portal to manage and place orders at your preferred lab.

Additionally, you can share case files with colleagues to collaborate on treatment plans or send patient records to refer your patient to a specialist.

You can also share patient images with annotations directly with your patients for them to review in the comfort of their home.
Step 3: Data reception by the lab of your choice

Your partner can access the scan data and the whole order through DS Core for Labs.

DS Core can be easily integrated into the existing lab set-up and is open to other lab software including inLab, exocad®, and 3Shape Dental System. And the best part: all at no cost.
Step 4: Treating the patient

With Primescan, you can serve a broad variety of restorative indications to provide your patients with excellent treatment. From indirect restorations like crowns, inlays and bridges, to implant restorations like abutments and screw-retained crowns, diversify your practice offerings across various restorations. You can even expand to aesthetic treatment options like veneers and smile makeovers.
