OsseoSpeed is #1 in marginal bone maintenance

In the first meta-analysis looking at how three of the most popular premium implant surfaces influence the marginal bone level, there was a statistically significant difference between the surfaces.

The conclusion of the study is that the OsseoSpeed surface (Astra Tech Implant System) demonstrates superior marginal bone maintenance, which is vital to achieving the best possible functional, biologic and esthetic outcomes over the long term.

Highest predictability with OsseoSpeed

In addition, the study clearly indicates that OsseoSpeed has higher predictability in maintenance of the marginal bone, i.e. showing less variation around the mean and less spread.

A recent meta-analysis concludes there is a statistically significant difference between three premium implant surfaces. And OsseoSpeed is the outright winner, when looking at maintenance of marginal bone after one and five years.
