The inLab CAD Software is a separate CAD component and is nearly independent of the scanning and production unit. inLab CAD Software convinces with needs-based indications and user-friendly application.

You have a broad range of indications beyond basic applications you can select with inLab CAD Software. Four software modules cover the most important indications.

Jaw-Oriented Biogeneric Setting

The unique jaw-oriented biogeneric procedure that reconstructs teeth faithfully. The inLab CAD software includes the positions and morphologies of the existing teeth in its analysis and generates initial patient-specific, fully contoured proposals — for single anterior or posterior teeth as well as for extended bridges and multiple restorations. This saves valuable time by eliminating the need for elaborate design adjustments.

Basic Module

This software module covers basic indications and provides all necessary design tools along with access to digital impression with Connect Case Center.

The software features the design of inlay, onlay, veneer, full crown, fully anatomical bridges, anatomically reduced bridge, coping, multi-layer and models.

J.O.B.S. Jaw Orientated Biogeneric Settings

This unique jaw-orientated biogeneric procedure reconstructs teeth true to nature. The inLab CAD Software includes the positioning and morphology of the existing teeth in its analysis and uses this data to generate patient-specific fully anatomical first proposals – both for individual teeth in the anterior and posterior regions as well as for large bridges and multiple unit restorations. That eliminates the need to perform time-consuming design rework.

1:1 copy mode

With the 1:1 copy mode, all geometric dimensions of a restoration can be faithfully copied and transferred to the final restoration. That saves an enormous amount of work time. The feature is particularly well-suited for large bridge and implant cases with a gingival component, in which existing long-term temporary solutions are to be precisely converted to final restorations.

Data transfer

Convenient transfer of digital impressions from Dentsply Sirona intraoral cameras including all order information as well as image and additional data from the practice to the laboratory within seconds.

This module comprises all required CAD tools and functions for the customized treatment of single and multiple implants as well as for surgical guide design - for seamless transfer to the inLab production units inLab MC X5 and inLab MC XL. Or alternatively, for export to other production machines.

Interface Module

The optional inLab CAD Software interface module offers the flexibility to perform the entire CAD/CAM process with the inLab components from Dentsply Sirona or to individually integrate solutions from other manufacturers.

  • STL import of scan data (extraoral and intraoral scanner), e.g., for design with inLab CAD SW and production with inLab MC X5 or inLab MC XL, CEREC Primemill or Primeprint Solution
  • STL export of inLab restoration data, e.g., for processing with other manufacturing units or central productions

For diversity in dental design and production

The optional Interface module of the inLab CAD Software with a single license for all available inLab interfaces offers a flexible connection of the inLab CAD Software to virtually all existing CAD/CAM systems.

NEW - inLab Software 22: Widens production range. Integrates CEREC Primemill.

The inLab SW 22 CAD and CAM applications offer a harmonized new user interface at a design and manufacturing level, additional design options and extended connectivity to CEREC Primemill. The software optimizes gingiva designs and integrates the new Digital Genios and Digital Portrait tooth libraries for the design of full and for – NEW- full-over-natural dentures. The design and manufacturing workflow for CEREC Guide 3 surgical guide has been integrated and the implant supported restoration design for DS PrimeTaper implant system is supported.

inLab CAD SW 22.1.1 1 GB

Please note that in order to run the software you need valid license keys for both the inLab CAD SW 22 as well as for the Basis module. Licenses can be ordered from your Dentsply Sirona Dealer.

inLab CAM SW 22.2.0 2 GB

inLab CAM SW 22.2 requires the inLab CAM SW 22 license. Without an inLab CAM SW 22 license, the Software will start in a demo mode that allows for using and testing the software but will not allow for production. inLab CAM 22.x uses CAM Service as database for all manufacturing data such as designs and blanks. IMPORTANT: inLab CAM 22 will import all *.cam (designs) and *.blc (blanks/jobs) data into the CAM Service database. Once the data is imported, it will no longer be accessible with inLab CAM ≤20.x! Please make sure, that you have the appropriate licenses installed and/or backup your data if you intend to further use the data with inLab CAM ≤20.x!
