Endodontic Posts

If an indirect restoration of the crown is required after the endodontic treatment, usually the core of the crown needs to be rebuilt first.

To provide the lab made crown as well as the core build-up composite with sufficient hold, one or several posts can be placed into the root. In order to create the necessary post-space in obturated canals, burs (like the Post-Space Bur or the Largo Peso Reamer) and drills can be used.

Endodontic posts reestablish or strengthen the tooth's coronal structure, providing stability for a crown and allowing for dental restoration despite inadequate tooth structure. Fiber Posts

X-Post

Fiber post available in full range of sizes with color coding. X-Post has a modulus of elasticity which is close to that of dentin, prevents fissures or fractures and a tapered shape similar to anatomical form of most root canals, which helps to reduce the removal of healthy dentin. It also offers high bond strength for long-lasting restoration as the surface of X Post provides maximum surface for better adhesion of cement.

EasyPost

Root canal posts made of white glass fiber material, providing the ideal mechanical properties for a homogeneous reconstruction which minimizes the risks of root fracture.

Metal Posts

Radix Anker Posts

Biocompatible root canal post made of titanium and available with three different heads for increased clinical versatility. A fully vented parallel post means less chance of excess pressure at the apical section of the canal. Self-tapering threads make these posts ideal for reconstruction of remaining tooth structure without the excess stress of a fully-treaded post. The Radix-Anker core section has 20 undercuts that secure any core material tooth surface.
