Interview with Rainer Selzer – employee in Process Engineering
What is your job at Dentsply Sirona?
I work in process engineering and am responsible for sub-areas of production technologies for parts production and purchased parts from suppliers.
How did you join Dentsply Sirona?
I completed my training as an instrument mechanic in 1971 - back then at Siemens AG in Bensheim - and have remained loyal to the company ever since.
How has Dentsply Sirona managed to keep you for so long?
New opportunities regularly opened up for me, especially through company training. Contracts bound by collective agreements, voluntary social benefits and a company pension scheme have made Dentsply Sirona a reliable partner for me until now.
How important is reliability in your professional life?
It is very important. When you work with high-tech devices, the careful use of materials, machines and resources is vital to ensure the very best quality. It is only through diligence and conscientiousness that the customers' requirements can be satisfied.
What does "Made in Germany" mean to you?
It means reliable, high quality. And also innovative products and durability.
