Here is a selection of some of our most recent success stories.
In 2018, Dentsply Sirona equipped two levels of the Faculty of Health Sciences, Prinshof Campus, School of Dentistry, at the University of Pretoria, South Africa. In total 22 Intego treatment centers as well as additional equipment were installed.
Following a long-lasting and successful cooperation starting already in 2002, Dentsply Sirona installed several CEREC CAD/CAM systems, complete with the prepCheck analysis software in April 2017, accompanying the University de los Andes in their visionary concept of dental training.
The very first exclusive CEREC training centre in Asia opened its doors in May 2016 in Taipei. The training facilities are equipped with state-of-the-art Sirona technology equipment.
Since the foundation of the Danube Private University in Krems, Dentsply Sirona was chosen to be the partner for creating the highest dental excellence standard, combining modern technologies with history and tradition.
In 2015, Dentsply Sirona was a partner for this project and supported the construction of the new University Hospital for Dentistry and Oral Health in Graz from developing the vision to the turnkey handover.
With the Melbourne Dental School, University of Melbourne in Australia Dentsply Sirona has done a complete redesign and re-equipping of clinical and teaching department including digitalization with CEREC and prepCheck.
After working on Siemens equipment for 17 years, Dentsply Sirona set up a completely new training center in 2010 at the University of Groningen, in The Netherlands. The set up is followed by an exchange of Simulation Units in 2013.
For the education of dental assistants Dentsply Sirona created a completely new treatment room with 6 phantom workstations in a new college building of the Koning Willem I College in Den Bosch, The Netherlands.
With the exchange of the Simulation Units, Dentsply Sirona improved the working conditions for the teaching staff as well as students in the Polyclinic for Restorative and Preventive Dentistry, at the University Hospital of Giessen in Marburg, Germany.
The dental clinic in Jazan has relied on dental innovations from Sirona since its opening back in 2010. In a two-stage project, 295 treatment centers, 105 simulation units, 60 intraoral x-ray devices, a DVT and a CEREC system from Dentsply Sirona were installed. Professor Mohamed B. Hassanin himself was taught on Dentsply Sirona equipment, which proved itself to be reliable and robust. After evaluating different offers, he wholeheartedly decided for Dentsply Sirona.
The Dentsply Sirona Endodontic Suite at the NYU College of Dentistry features a fully-integrated computer network and state-of-the-art equipment to meet the excellent standards in dental education.
The vision of the Central University of Ecuador in Quito is to become the best public university for dentistry in the country and to set new standards when it comes to dental education.
