Building upon the systematic approach outline in previous courses to identify, assess and diagnose alignment concerns, doctors in this course will learn how to transform their diagnosis or assessment, along with the patient’s chief concern(s), into a treatment plan for clear aligner therapy (CAT).
This course is designed to help clinicians create an effective clear aligner treatment plan that can be submitted to the aligner manufacturer with the doctor’s prescriptive instructions. Participants will gain tips on how to educate and communicate their goals for treatment with patients.
Learning Objectives:
- Create a list of alignment problems based on patient case records
- Develop an aligner treatment plan that addresses the patient’s chief concern(s) and the clinician’s goal(s) for treatment
- Apply a systematic approach to documenting what is and is not included in the doctor’s treatment plan and how to communicate this plan to the aligner manufacturer and patient
