On behalf of the Australasian Osseointegration Society (AOS) and the Australian Prosthodontic Society (APS), it is our absolute pleasure to invite you to our upcoming biannual conference, set to take place in vibrant Melbourne from the 6th to the 8th of August, 2026.

This year’s theme, Beyond the Horizon, speaks to the spirit of bold innovation and forward thinking. It’s about challenging assumptions, questioning limits, and elevating our practice to what lies just beyond the visible. Dentistry is evolving rapidly, and this conference is designed to be a platform where we don’t just keep pace - we lead the charge into what’s next.

In designing this event, we’ve taken a fresh approach to every detail. We’ve extended keynote presentation times, allowing our world-class speakers the space to truly deliver depth, nuance, and insights. Our aim is to offer lots of substance, giving attendees the richest learning experience possible.

The format of the conference will also be unique. Each core topic will feature two complementary or alternative viewpoints. These sessions will culminate in a dynamic panel discussion, encouraging critical dialogue and deeper understanding. We believe this “point-counterpoint-panel” format will stimulate lots of discussion and allow us to see different perspectives represented.

The Congress will be held in Sydney, Australia from 27 to 30 August 2026. Sydney is a city of over 5 million people, with the reputation for being a major tourist destination known for its beautiful natural beauty, stunning landmarks and vibrant cultural diversity.

The Congress will be scientifically compelling and multidisciplinary, building on the high standards of the past. The program is being developed with the International Scientific Advisory Committee and will comprise of a diverse portfolio of content from industry experts.

The New Zealand Dental Association (NZDA), New Zealand Oral Health Association (NZOHA), and New Zealand Institute of Dental Technologists (NZIDT) are joining forces to deliver the New Zealand Dental Congress 2026.
