This procedure-based course will help clinicians grow into more advanced surgical and prosthetic concepts with the treatment of single-tooth anterior implants. This case highlights the replacement of a fractured maxillary lateral incisor with immediate implant placement and immediate provisionalization.

Course Objectives

  • Recognize factors for determining if a fractured tooth is restorable or non-restorable
  • Understand key considerations for implant orientation
  • Identify the 'Rules of Six' for proper implant positioning
  • Understand a simple and predictable approach to single-tooth implant immediate placement and provisionalization

Following completion of Parts 1 through 4 of this Level 3 curriculum focused on single-tooth implants in the anterior, participants are encouraged to continue their education in Level 4, focused on multi-unit segments
