Learn more about the Dentsply Sirona Windows 11 Security Package to continue ensuring security and compatibility of your Dentsply Sirona devices.
Since its introduction in 2015, WaveOne Gold has streamlined root canal procedures for clinicians in over 130 countries. Engineered with a proprietary gold heat-treated alloy, the file offers enhanced flexibility and fatigue resistance, helping practitioners gain confidence from shaping to obturation1 and navigate various anatomies while reducing chair time. The WaveOne Gold solution includes a dedicated Glide Path instrument as well as the four shaping instruments, the Dentsply Sirona Irrgiation Needle and SmartLite Pro EndoActivator® for active irrigation, the AH Plus® sealer and matching obturation for cold and warm techniques.
All the WaveOne Gold instruments are operated in a “back and forth motion”, i.e. reciprocating motion, driven by Dentsply Sirona reciprocating motors. This reciprocation motion engages the instrument and cuts dentin in a counterclockwise direction and then disengages it in a clockwise direction. The disengagement occurs before excessive torsional stress is transferred onto the metal alloy and before the instrument can bind (taper lock) into the root canal, providing some advantages over continuous rotations systems such as the reduction of torsional stress and reduced risked of instrument separation, progression to the apex without applying too much force and enhanced debris removal.1
Irrigate and activate for improved cleaning vs previous generation.
Start with our latest irrgiation needle, flexible with two lateral openings aimed directly at the dentinal walls and atraumatic for hard tissues. Then activate the irrigiant with SmartLite Pro EndoActivator to produce a surface with more opened dentinal tubules, providing better obturation of lateral and accessory canals.13
Reliable seal and excellent fit.
No matter if you prefer a warm or cold obturation technique the AH Plus Jet® is your sealer of choice. The world’s most researched endodontic sealer brand and proven clinical success with more than 100 Million root canal fillings.7 Combine it with the ease of Conform Fit® gutta-percha point or GuttaCore®.

WaveOne Gold uses a simplified single-shaping-file reciprocating technique for most cases — reducing shaping time by up to 50% and minimizing the risk of canal transportation.
No. In most cases, one glider and one shaping file are sufficient, streamlining your workflow and reducing procedural complexity.
Reciprocating motion helps reduce file fatigue and fracture risk, offering a more forgiving experience, especially in curved or narrow canals.
Yes. The gold heat-treated files offer greater flexibility and control, making them ideal even for challenging canal shapes.
No matter if you prefer cold or warm obturation technique, we have a solution for you with our matching Conform Fit gutta-percha cones or GuttaCore, pairing perfectly with AH Plus Jet root canal sealer for a reliable seal.
