Dr. Ender studied dentistry from 1996 to 2001 at Friedrich Schiller University in Jena, Germany. He graduated in 2001 as a dentist and then worked from 2001-2002 as an assistant dentist in the private practice of Dr. Schulz, Bad Brückenau, Germany. 

Dr. Ender worked from 2002-2012 as an assistant dentist and research assistant at the Computer Assisted Restorative Dentistry Department, Clinic for Preventive Dentistry, Periodontology and Cariology, Dental Center, at the University of Zurich, Switzerland.  

In 2004, he finished his doctorate with the promotion of Dr. med dent. From 2013 to present, Dr. Ender works as Senior Assistant at the Computer Assisted Restorative Dentistry Department, Clinic for Preventive Dentistry, Periodontology and Cariology, Dental Center, at the University of Zurich, Switzerland. 

Dr. Ender holds the position of Curriculum Coordinator for dental undergraduate students at the Center for Dentistry at the University of Zurich from 2016 to present. He also was granted the Venia Legendi in the field of computer-aided restorative dentistry in 2018.
