Xylocaine provides complete anesthesia for procedures lasting an average 90 minutes. Xylocaine is often used as the benchmark for local anesthesia for both infiltration and nerve block techniques. Low allergenic and minimal toxicity have been suggested through research and clinical usage.
Xylocaine Injectable Anesthetic
2% Lidocaine HCI and Epinephrine
- Free from natural rubber latex leading to reduced allergic reactions
- Minimal toxicity
- Provides rapid onset anesthesia
- Onset: Less than 2 minutes
- Duration: Approximately 1 hour for infiltrations, 90 minutes for nerve blocks
