Benefits

Why choose our sleep appliance workflow?

Excellent results

Primescan delivers excellent, reliable, high quality intraoral scan data to create custom-made sleep devices. This nearly eliminates the necessity for any adjustments during the patients’ visit.

Time saving

The easy to use, validated fully digital workflow allows you to complete a full arch scan in less than one minute. This procedure can also be delegated, saving you time and empowering your assistants.

Efficient workflows

With Primescan you can take a full-arch scan in less than one minute and safely transfer the data via the Connect Case Center. Sending digital impressions instead of analog casts also increases turnaround times for a Panthera D-SAD.

Improvement of quality of life

This high-tech oral sleep appliance workflow gives you the ability to offer a lifestyle product that makes your patients happy and healthier by treating snoring & sleep apnea. Deliver greater satisfaction for your patients and grow your business at the same time.

“The validated digital workflow solution between Primescan & Panthera enables dentists to help many suffering patients live a longer, better and healthier life.”

FAQ

The manufacturing and shipping will take about 15 days.

Panthera currently supports English and French. More languages will be added over time.

It is possible to order a Panthera sleep device with Omnicam, but this workflow is not validated by Dentsply Sirona and Panthera. If the scan quality fits the Panthera requirement, the order will be accepted by Panthera. In this case, we suggest a guided scanning using Omnicam.

Besides Primescan no additional equipment is needed. This is one of the advantages of Panthera: It is sufficient to scan the patient's entire jaw and register the bite for the protrusion. After that, the scan data can be sent directly to Panthera Dental – either via the Connect Case Center or via STL file. Within 15 days, the D-SAD is designed and manufactured by Panthera Dental's own CAD/CAM process. The dentist receives a custom-made sleeping device and can start treatment immediately.
