Frequently asked questions

Thanks to its 4-motor system CEREC Primemill offers additional features like Super-Fast Milling for zirconia crowns and Extra-Fine Milling and Grinding modes for zirconia and glass ceramics. Although CEREC Primemill Lite does not offer those features, this 2-motor device provides reliable performance for milling and grinding of all validated1 materials.

CEREC Go is designed to work with DS Core and does not require local CEREC Software installation.

CEREC Primemill and CEREC Primemill Lite support zirconia, glass ceramics, composites, hybrid ceramics, and feldspar. CEREC Go supports composites and hybrid ceramics.

Yes. CEREC Primemill, CEREC Primemill Lite, and CEREC Go are all DS Core ready for seamless digital workflows and remote manufacturing access.

Super Fast Grinding helps significantly reduce manufacturing time - e.g., composite inlays possible in under 2 minutes2 and a composite crown possible in less than 4 minutes2. This mode is available for CEREC Primemill, CEREC Primemill Lite and CEREC Go.

This advanced mode helps reduce milling time for zirconia crowns, that means a full-contour zirconia crown can be milled in around 5 minutes2. Super Fast Milling is exclusively available for the 4-motor milling unit CEREC Primemill.
