Galileos Comfort Plus provides all the image information you need, may it be a functions diagnostic case, a chirurgic case or sleep apnea treatment.

Optional Facescanner

While taking X-ray images, the optionally integrated Facescanner plots the patient's facial surface. This realistic illustration makes your treatment suggestions for patients understandable and builds confidence in your expertise.

MARS reconstruction software

Radiopaque objects, such as metals, cause metal artifacts. MARS software automatically recognizes and reduces these objects, supporting your diagnosis - without a second X-ray.

What are the system requirements?

The requirements actually follow those for the image processing software, Sidexis 4. Please find details here: Sidexis 4 System Requirements

I already have Sidexis XG. Do I have to switch to Sidexis 4 in order to use a Galileos Comfort Plus ?

No, you do not have to switch. Galileos Comfort Plus works with both Sidexis XG and Sidexis 4. However, for a better user experience, we recommend installing Sidexis 4. Migrating data from Sidexis XG to Sidexis 4 is an easy process.

Can I add a Cephalometric arm on my Galileos Comfort Plus ?

No, Galileos Comfort Plus has no ceph capability. All ceph-like images come from the 3D data. If you require genuine cephalometric images on a regular basis, we recommend the Orthophos XG 3D or Orthophos SL 3D.
