This procedure-based course will illustrate the basic surgical and prosthetic concepts of implant therapy by presenting a single-tooth posterior implant case. The case demonstrates the replacement of a missing bicuspid in a patient with Type 2 Diabetes, showing the importance of proper planning to restore function and esthetics successfully.

Posterior Single-tooth Implants Case II - Guided Surgery

This procedure-based course will illustrate the basic surgical and prosthetic concepts of implant therapy through the presentation of a single-tooth posterior implant case. This case demonstrates the replacement of missing tooth #19, which was lost due to root fracture. We will discuss the role of comprehensive treatment planning and the predictability that guided surgery brings.
