Digital procedure workflows

Step 1: Scan

Spare your patients the discomfort of conventional impressions and benefit from precise 3D models in natural colors. Take an intraoral scan with any Primescan or 3Shape Trios scanner and continue via DS Core.1

Step 2: Design

Design customized restorations easily using either CEREC on DS Core or on-premise CEREC Software. Both ways provide excellent initial proposals and simple form, shape and move tools to tailor the design to your preference.

Step 3: Manufacture

Transmit your design to the milling machine from the CEREC Software or via DS Core with ease. Using Super Fast Grinding Mode, available for CEREC Primemill, CEREC Primemill Lite or CEREC Go, composite or hybrid ceramic crowns can be produced in around 4 minutes, inlays in around 2 minutes. Zirconia crowns can be milled in around five minutes using CEREC Primemill’s Super-Fast Milling Mode2.

Step 4: Finalization

Materials which require heat treatment, e.g. zirconia and glass ceramics, can be finalized in CEREC SpeedFire® right in your practice. This highly intuitive, easy-to-use dental furnace provides guided workflows and fast sintering processes for various validated2 materials.
