Tool Portfolio for CEREC Primemill
Different burs and diamonds are used depending on the type of material and processing option. The CEREC Primemill tool geometries have been optimised for different indications and materials providing for smooth surfaces and margins, detailed fissures and outstanding restoration fits.
The tool types are easily identified by their coloured caps located at their base. Each tool’s RFID chip is used in combination with the CEREC Primemill’s integrated RFID reader and touch interface to provide the user with easy step-by-step workflows and tool lifetime information.

CEREC Primemill as part of the CEREC Workflow
Powerful Touch Interface: The large 7" touch interface is highly intuitive and user-friendly, making machine operation easy.
Super Fast Mode for Zirconia Crowns: This innovative and unique process uses parallel milling to maximise speed. It delivers excellent Zirconia crowns in around 5 minutes cutting processing times by around half versus the CEREC MC XL-family of machines.
The block scanner quickly scans the data matrix code on the blocks with a compatible code, speeding up the workflow.
RFID Reader: The wear status of tools is recorded, ensuring failsafe workflows and increasing productivity.
Very Aesthetic Details: New 0,5mm extra fine bur used with zirconia and PMMA materials for producing highly detailed fissures as well as very defined interdental areas on bridges
Wet and Dry Milling and Wet Grinding: The unique variety of production modes allows optimal material processing.
The LED light strip informs the user about the job and machine status.
