Dear Reader,

many people have used the months of the COVID-19 pandemic to reshape the future. This is just as evident in the world of dental practices as it is in one's own home. The desire to modernize, develop and individualize are the significant driving motivations behind this. Although live experiences were missing as sources of inspiration, the fields of digitalization, design and integration in the interior design sector continued to develop intensively.

In collaboration with trend researchers, we have compiled the 2022 trends and innovations in dental practice interior design for our partners and customers.

In practices worldwide, a great variety of regional and individual interior design accents are currently emerging. In this issue, we present three outstanding trends through inspiring practice examples: Natural Perspective, Calming Comfort and Artistic Spirit. These practices all aspire to create an outstanding patient experience that combines comfort with excellent clinical results.

At Dentsply Sirona, the newly founded design team led by Florian Sobirey, Director Design, continuously implements the wishes and visions of practitioners in concepts for new products – thus ensuring a holistic user experience.
