Dental design requires good software

• The inLab CAD Software is a separate CAD component and is nearly independent of the scanning and production unit. inLab CAD Software convinces with needs-based indications and user-friendly application.

Why use inLab CAM Software?

Smart positioning in the workpiece
For efficient material use and optimal preparation, the inLab CAM software positions the restoration in the workpiece according to your specifications. This takes previously positioned or prepared objects into account. Users can make adjustments without restrictions in the individual arrangement – for maximum flexibility and according to individual demands.

Inspecting wall thickness
The wall thicknesses of an object can be checked in a virtual model before machining. The system displays the respective wall thicknesses for any point.

Horizontal positioning
For optimal positioning within the workpiece (e.g. with multi-layer materials such as Cercon xt ML) the object can manually be shifted and rotated in all directions..

To make Zirconia mill able in an efficient, safe and economic way, Zirconia has in the beginning a porous structure of loosely connected zirconia particles: This state is called "white body" and is the presintered state (strength:15-60 MPa). This low strength allows to mill zirconia discs easily and reduces bur wear.

After milling, the restoration is sintered to achieve a homogenous structure and the needed mechanical properties. This means that restorations are given their final strength and dimensions in sintering furnaces with a special sintering program in terms of time and temperature control. This has a high significance with regard to the quality of the restoration, especially the strength (strength: 750 - 1200 MPa) and color.

Summary: Zirconia materials are delivered in a presintered state. During sintering process, they undergo a sinter shrinkage. After sintering the zirconia materials have their high strength. The right combination of material, sinter program and sinter furnace is essential for the quality of the restoration, especially for strength, translucency, shade and fit.

Monolithic with just a glaze, or stain and glaze

The finishing of all-ceramic restorations is an essential component of esthetics and quality.

Cercon Multilayers, Cercon ht ML and Cercon xt ML, can be finished with only a single glaze or by an individual characterization with DS Universal Stain and Glaze.

The seamless layers delivers a natural esthetics and especially in the anterior region Cercon ht ML can be used for covering discolored dies, depending on the degree of discoloration and wall thickness of the restoration.

Cutback up to fully veneered

The cutback technique is particularly suitable for minimal individualization, especially of the incisal area.
With the veneering ceramics Celtra Ceram or Cercon ceram Kiss, detailed individualizations can be carried out specifically and with little effort.

Cercon ht and Cercon xt are particularly suitable for this technique.

If a fully veneered restoration is desired or necessary for various reasons, it can also be fabricated with Celtra Ceram or Cercon ceram Kiss.

Cercon base in particular, but also Cercon ht and Cercon xt are suitable for this technique.
