Dentsply Sirona is raising the bar once again for progressive intraoral imaging. Featuring new Advanced Exposure technology, the Xios AE sensor offers a sophisticated combination of outstanding image quality, dedicated filtering options and enhanced visibility of details at a lower dose.
Charlotte/Bensheim, Xios AE is one of the newest additions to Dentsply Sirona’s expansive imaging solutions product portfolio. Optimized for true excellence and designed to facilitate clinical confidence, smart connectivity and a positive experience for the both the user and the patient, you get a suitable addition to any practice and a number of premium features to help drive success.
The Advanced Exposure technology of the Xios AE sensor combines the outstanding resolution of 33 lp/mm* with optimized data read-out and innovative filtering to maximize the dentist’s diagnostic potential. With its advanced filtering enhancements, relevant anatomical structures are highlighted to support an accurate and detailed diagnosis, and to help boost the clinician’s confidence in their treatment evaluation. Increased sensor sensitivity and an enhanced low-dose optimized exposure range allow for optimal visibility and diagnostics at reduced exposure. Underexposed images are successfully counterbalanced, enabling consistent image quality and extended dose flexibility.

The X-rays are immediately accessible for diagnosis and treatment assessment as a result of the accelerated read-out and improved data transfer via the new, compact USB 3 interface. With just the click of a mouse the images are stored in the patient files and are readily available for subsequent patient visits. Users are impressed: “The AE sensor offers me excellent image quality. Designed for robust system durability, Xios AE is equipped with ultrasonically welded sensor housing, a reinforced cable, and a protected cable plug. Additionally, the easy cable exchange helps to reduce the risk of sensor downtime.
Last but not least, smart and flexible connectivity between hardware and software facilitates the easy storage and accessibility of the captured images and patient data. Xios AE is compatible with Sidexis version 4.3 and higher, as well as select third-party software.
