- Can be reapplied, as needed, with up to five cartridges per appointment
- Onset occurs within 30 seconds and has a duration of approximately 20 minutes
- Applied directly in the sulcus, the unique, patented, thermosetting system changes from liquid to gel and delivers pain relief where it’s needed
Oraqix is not for injection. Oraqix should not be used in patients with congenital or idiopathic methemoglobinemia.

Patients with gingivitis and periodontal disease typically have inflamed, irritated tissue. Some manufacturers of competitive topical products limit dose to only 0.4ml of liquid or warn against use on large areas of denuded or inflamed tissue. Check prescribing information prior to purchase.
Oraqix is a non-injectable, pH neutral anesthetic which is safe for use on inflamed tissue and can be used in conjunction with injectable anesthetics. Maximum dose is 5 full cartridges (8.5ml), enough to complete a full mouth scaling.
