This course is for the dentist that is just starting out in their journey with implant surgery. Whether they are new to implant placement or re-starting implants in an established practice, the clinician will learn surgical and implant fundamentals to allow them to be comfortable with the surgical phase of implant dentistry.

The workshop will focus on implant fundamentals, clinical and radiographic findings, contraindications to treatment, planning utilizing appropriate cone beam technology, crown proposals as well as the basics of the software needed for implant planning and placement. The workshop portion will feature hands on implant placement using non- guided kits, extractions, practice integration, risk management, complications and more.

This introductory workshop is designed to give attendees the fundamental knowledge of implant dentistry. This course sets the foundation for all CDOCS implant curriculum by starting with the non-guided approach before progressing to a basic understanding of a guided surgery workflow.

Although the concepts learned in the workshop will feature Dentsply Sirona implant products for the hands-on sessions, the concepts can be applied to any implant system.
