The SureSmile® Aligner Workflow

The SureSmile® Aligner Workflow, a comprehensive process, will carry your patients from digital impressions to their final treatment results. Depending on your treatment plan complete or select, the SureSmile® system will lead you to amazing results.

Collecting Records

Photos and a digital impression are taken at the first appointment. SureSmile Treatment Planning Workflow accepts scans from all most commonly used intraoral scanners. X-ray data is optional. for a more comprehensive diagnosis.

Submitting Prescription

Rely on our Digital Lab Specialist or specify your detailed treatment preferences.

Approval or Modification of Treatment Plan

All treatment plans submitted to the SureSmile Digital Lab go through a comprehensive planning process and a final quality inspection by a Digital Lab Specialist. This ensures excellent initial setups.

Manufacturing of the Aligners

Once you’ve approved the treatment plan, SureSmile Aligners are custom fabricated using an innovative process.

Starting Treatment

When the patient kit arrives at your practice, it’s time to start your patient’s treatment.

Finishing Treatment

What makes the SureSmile® Aligner System so exceptional?

Smiles by Design

When X-ray data is provided, they are registered with a 3D model to superimpose photos in order to plan the final tooth position to be in line with the natural facial features of your patient.

Timelines and IPR scheduling

Our software shows a graphic animation of your patient’s treatment plan. The timeline indicates when attachments have to be placed and at which appointments interproximal enamel reduction (IPR) has to be performed and on which teeth.

Maintain Your Patients' New Smile

Unlike aligners which are designed to be changed every two weeks, SureSmile® Retainers are designed to wear up to 12 months.* SureSmile® Retainers have the strength to protect teeth from damage caused by bruxing or grinding without compromising the retainer’s clinical effectiveness.** After completing treatment, patients will receive a SureSmile™ Whitening Kit. The SureSmile™ Whitening Kit includes 4 whitening treatments.
