Restoration of dark stump teeth with CEREC
The CEREC Expert Roundtable is open for all experts, newcomers and those who are interested to know more about CEREC: Moderated by Dr. Hsuan Chen, lecturer at National Yang Ming University in Taiwan and advisor to the CEREC Asia Training Center, five dental clinicians from five countries will discuss cases involving the restoration of dark stump teeth with CEREC at a virtual roundtable on Sunday, March 28, 2021 from 3 to 6 p.m. SGT. Thanks to their expertise, the five speakers will ensure that every single step in the CEREC workflow is competently illuminated.

Dr. Justin Giam, general practitioner at his dental clinics in the business district of Singapore with a focus on digital dentistry, concentrates primarily on the topic of preparation. This plays an outstanding role, particularly in the case of broken and discolored teeth, in order to ensure the clinical success and longevity of the restoration.
Dr. Suchada Kongkiatkamon from Thailand, a lecturer at one of the leading universities in Thailand which she specializes in prosthetic and implant dentistry, will focus on the aspect of digital impressions and will give tips on how special scanning strategies can be used to manage cases with discoloration in particular.
Dr. Ignatius Ronny Halim, a practicing dentist from Indonesia, will concentrate on the material aspect of CAD/CAM-fabricated restorations in the roundtable discussion. He has been a certified CEREC trainer since 2014 and will enable the participants in the online meeting to differentiate between the properties of the various materials and select the right material specifically for discolored stump teeth.
Dr. Perlin Loke, a dental clinician from Malaysia, has special interest in all aspects of dental reconstruction and cosmetic make-over. His presentation will address the esthetic aspects of CEREC restorations. He will also reveal tips and tricks on how to solve complex restoration cases efficiently and systematically chairside.
Dr. Ryan Tse, a dental clinician from Hong Kong, held lectures around the world in topics of interest like Implants and Esthetics. In his presentation, he will focus primarily on issues relating to the cementation and bonding protocol of restorations for discoloured teeth. He deals with different cementation/bonding materials that are suitable for meeting high esthetic requirements, especially in the case of dark stump teeth.
The restoration of heavily discolored teeth is always a major challenge for dental clinicians. The six experts will demonstrate that this can be achieved excellently with CEREC.
