This is a 2 day course that is offered across multiple dates: March 7-8, 2024; April 11-12, 2024; May 18-19, 2024; June 8-9, 2024; July 20-21, 2024; August 1-2, 2024; September 12-13, 2024; September 14-15, 2024; October 12-13, 2024; October 24-25, 2024; November 14-15, 2024. You will be able to select that dates that work for you in the registration process.

Prerequisites:

Level 1 or Basic Training from your CEREC dealer Strongly Recommended                                                                                                                                        Once you have completed your initial training and viewed the training videos on CDOCS.com, it is time to expand your CEREC knowledge and learn how to make better use of the CEREC technology and 5.2 software.

The Fundamentals of CEREC Dentistry hands on workshop allows you to practice fabricating crowns with ideal occlusion with shorter, stress-free CEREC appointments. Designed for new and long-term users alike, the Fundamentals of CEREC Dentistry workshop gives you the skill set necessary to use the software to its fullest capabilities and to continue your modern dentistry education. You will get a thorough review of what it takes to make the CEREC process predictable and efficient from an efficient workflow to a thorough understanding of the software and materials available for CEREC users.

All CDOCS hands-on workshops are conducted on Primescans utilizing the most recent software. Patterson and Henry Schein Dental training vouchers accepted.

Staff seating is limited and on a first come, first serve basis. Bringing more than two assistants is highly discouraged due to spacing.                                                  Participants Will Learn:

  1. The importance of Prep and Picture, keys to all CEREC success
  2. To thoroughly understand each design technique Biogeneric Individual, Biogeneric Copy and copy and mirror
  3. To become efficient with inventory and use of the CEREC blocks
  4. How to design and mill multiple restorations adjacent and opposing restorations
  5. The importance of the Model Axis and other tools with CEREC software
  6. How to fabricate chairside temporary bridges
  7. The difference between fabricating provisional and permanent bridges
  8. How to contour and crystallize permanent bridges
  9. The Virtual Articulator function of the software, how to use it and for what clinical situation
  10. The range of materials choices and their indications
  11. How to mix and match various design techniques, including Biogeneric Individual and Biogeneric Copy for the same patient
  12. Advanced techniques to increase the efficiency of your CEREC fabrications
  13. How to send your cases to the laboratory using Connect
  14. How to manage multi-unit fixed partial denture cases with CEREC, from temporization to digital fabrication of the final restorations
  15. A thorough understanding of the bonding protocol and various types of cements available, from self-etching to total etch                                                     Plus:
