With more than 15,000 employees across 40 countries and over 50 languages spoken, our global diversity is a fundamental part of who we are. 

Celebrating individual backgrounds, experiences, and perspectives not only strengthens our culture and the level of respect we expect our employees to demonstrate with each other — it drives innovation, engagement, and better business outcomes. The goal? Creating an environment where every employee's voice matters.

Our employee engagement survey results have proven it: employees who feel seen, heard, and valued are better equipped to grow personally and professionally. So, we strive to create an inclusive working environment where everyone is encouraged to utilize their unique voice and motivated to do their best work.

Our annual celebration of global diversity

Every year throughout May (since 2021), we celebrate Inclusion Month to create awareness for our company's global diversity and cultural richness.

Each celebration has a focus topic, such as “inspiring inclusion across cultures” (2024), “diversity is our superpower” (2023), and “allyship” (2021 and 2022). We aim to bring teams together through engagement activities and local activations.

PRIDE@DS

PRIDE@DS promotes inclusion, support, and engagement for LGBTQIA+ employees.

UNIDOS@DS strengthens the inclusion, support, and engagement of our Latino employees.

Global Employee Inclusion & Engagement Council

This group of Global ERG & Inclusion Ambassadors, representing diverse demographics, functions, and geographies, meets regularly to align on enterprise-wide strategies that strengthen inclusion and engagement. Together, they help ensure every employee is supported and empowered to perform at their highest potential.

Top priorities:

  • Empower every employee to play an active role in driving excellence for our customers.
  • Encourage every employee to use their voice to share opportunities to improve our organization.
  • Provide every employee with access to development resources that support their growth.

Enabling employees to learn and grow

Every employee has the opportunity to learn, grow, and shape their own development journey. Our learning ecosystem includes a robust library of on-demand courses, bite-sized microlearning, and real-world stretch opportunities that build future-ready skills.

We also cultivate cultural awareness through optional learning experiences and interactive live events that bring our values to life.

Collaborating creates an inclusive dental industry
