Citanest provides complete anesthesia for procedures lasting an average of 1 hour. Citanest® is versatile, providing anesthesia for both infiltration and nerve block techniques. Vasoconstrictor allows for a longer or extended procedure time.
Citanest Injectable Anesthetic
with Octapressin DENTAL Prilocaine hydrochloride 3% w/v Felypressin 0.54 micrograms/ml
- Low toxicity
- Exits the circulation faster than most of the other local anesthetics
- Felypressin reduces the rate of absorption of prilocaine from the site of injection thereby increasing its duration of action
- Free from natural rubber latex leading to reduced allergic reactions
- Onset: 2 minutes
- Duration: Approximately 40 minutes for infiltration, 90 minutes for nerve block
