Wiping Out Pathogens Faster than the Competition
The accelerated hydrogen peroxide formula offers speed, efficacy and safety, all in one wipe. Approved for EPA List N: Disinfectant for Coronavirus (COVID-19). Oxivir 1 wipes have a one-minute kill time on bacteria, viruses, and tuberculosis. They also offer the lowest level of hazard - practically non-toxic, not an irritant - according to EPA toxicity categories and require no safety warnings all while meeting OSHA Bloodborne Pathogen standards for decontaminating blood and body fluid spills.
Contact Time vs Dry Time Test
The difference between contact time and dry time is a critical factor when choosing the right disinfectant wipe. Contact time is the duration the disinfectant needs to remain wet on the surface in order to kill the pathogens listed on the disinfectant efficacy claims. While the dry time is the actual duration it takes the disinfectant to completely dry on the surface. If the product dries before the necessary contact time, the product will need to be reapplied so the surface remains wet for the required contact time. Tile Cleaning Capabilities Test
We stained tiles with sheep’s blood to demonstrate and test the cleaning capabilities of Diversey Oxivir 1 Wipes vs a standard alcohol quaternary surface disinfectant (CaviWipes).
Hemastix reagent strips were used to detect traces of blood on the surface of each cleaned tile. If the tip detects organic matter, it turns green. If there’s no trace of blood, the tip will remain yellow.
