Frequently asked questions

Charging time for the Power bank when the battery is fully depleted is approximately 3 hours.

Our X-Smart Go device features 10 memory programs, categorized as follows:

  • Preset memory programs containing embedded file systems: WaveOne® (P1); Reciproc (P2); ProTaper Ultimate (P3); TruNatomy (P4)
  • Dedicated to electronic measurement; operates in Apex Locator mode without motor rotation (AL)
  • User-configurable memory programs allowing rotary custom settings and configurations (M1-M5).

This feature enables to mark an individual predetermined reference position at the required distance from the apex. This variable apical line can be set between the 3rd blue bar and the last orange bar. When Dr’s Choice apical line is set, clear visual and audio indication is given that the file tip has reached this pre-selected position.

X-Smart Go features an integrated apex locator for length determination of the root canal.

The apex locator can be used in 2 ways:

  • Separate Length Determination: The working length is determined manually (without the motor) using the file clip and the lip clip. 
  • Combined Length Determination (see 6.4.6.1): The working length is determined while the root canal is being prepared. The motor and the apex locator are thus active simultaneously using the endodontic file inside the contra-angle and the lip clip.

The following components must be reprocessed before the first use and between each patient: contra-angle and its protective silicone sleeve, lip clip and file clip.
